RK has established itself as a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the General Championships. Our hall's unwavering dedication and hard work have led us to victories in the Recent Inter hall gymkhana championship, which includes Gold in Sports, Silver in Tech and Bronze in SoCult.

RADHAKRISHNAN HALL OF RESIDENCE

Radhakrishnan Hall of Residence is named after the distinguished scholar and statesman, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who served as the President of India from 1962-1967. RK was established in 1957 and Its rich history boasts of a total of 45 General Championships, a testament to the hall's tradition of teamwork, discipline, and excellence.

At Radhakrishnan Hall of Residence, we take great pride in celebrating Diwali with our unique and exciting tradition - the Illumination, or 'illu' for short. This celebration is a hallmark of IIT Kharagpur's culture, and it brings together students from different halls of residence, alumni, faculty, and guests of honor from outside the institute.
And at RK Hall, we've had a glorious history of winning Gold in both the illu and the Rangoli competitions for the past few years! These achievements are a testament to our team's enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to upholding our tradition of excellence.

With a long and glorious history of 22 Sports GCs and 23 SoCult GCs, RK Hall has cemented its position as the leading hall on campus. In fact, our hall has won more GCs than any other hall in IIT Kharagpur!
